CGC Digital is a FinTech company, established as the digital arm of Credit Guarantee Corporation Malaysia Berhad. Registered in July 2022, our primary goal is to empower Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) by creating a simpler and more seamless financing experience in the digital ecosystem.

Meet Our Board
Choong Tuck Oon
Chairman
Mr Choong is a CGC director and a highly sought-after advisor in the ASEAN digital start-up ecosystem and fintech sphere. With extensive experience spanning 25 years at Accenture, he currently serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director on the Boards of FIDE FORUM Malaysia, NTUC Income Insurance Cooperative Ltd Singapore. He actively advises a consortium of international aid agencies on core systems for bank-of-banks microfinancing in Indonesia and counsels a global wildlife/nature agency on a growth strategy for 11 Asian countries as part of his involvement in NGO initiatives.

Mr Anthony Lim is a CGC director with over 35 years of experience in the banking and finance industry. He has held key management positions in treasury, business banking, investment banking, and risk management. He currently serves as an independent director of Bank of America Malaysia Berhad since October 2021 and is a member of the Investment Panel for the Malaysian Government Public Services Pension Fund or Kumpulan Wang Persaraan (Diperbadankan) (“KWAP”).

En Suhaimi Ali is a CGC director and Assistant Governor of Bank Negara Malaysia. With 25 years of experience in the central bank, he now leads the financial development sector covering financial development and innovation, Islamic finance and financial inclusion. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees for the International Centre for Leadership in Finance (ICLIF) Trust Fund.

Mohamed Nazri Omar is the President and CEO of CGC Malaysia Berhad and has over 25 years of working experience in corporate and investment banking. Prior to taking the helm at CGC Malaysia, he previously held roles as Chief Executive Office at Danajamin Nasional Berhad, and Chairman of Prima Ekuiti (UK) Limited.

Apart from her corporate endeavors, Yushida enjoys spending quality time with her family, traveling, indulging in good food, and caring for cats.

He is currently contributing to this digital startup’s mission to assist MSMEs in accessing financing and scaling up their businesses through data- and technology-driven innovation as its Chief Growth Officer. In his personal time, Nazrul enjoys reading, trail hiking, travelling and supporting good causes related to performing arts and advocacy for the environment.
