KUALA LUMPUR, 24 July 2026 – CGC Digital, the fintech subsidiary of Credit Guarantee Corporation Malaysia Berhad (CGC), and Credit Bureau Malaysia (CBM), a licensed credit reporting agency, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to help Malaysia’s micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) understand their credit position and become financing-ready. The partnership brings together CGC Digital’s digital platforms and MSME reach with CBM’s capabilities in credit information and risk analytics.

In this collaboration, CGC Digital and CBM will explore developing credit risk models and analytical solutions that deepen understanding of MSME needs and strengthen decision-making across the financing ecosystem. The collaboration will also explore joint education and outreach initiatives, using both organisations’ networks to reach a wider group of business owners and raise awareness of the financing and credit-information support available to them.
